One of the easiest ways to do this is through Bluetooth®. Here are some tips and tricks to connect and use your device in your Jeep through Bluetooth®!

How to Connect to Bluetooth® in your Jeep

There are a few simple steps involved to get your device connected to Bluetooth® in your Jeep:

On your Jeep’s system:

  • Select Menu
  • Press System Setup
  • Choose Device Pairing
  • Select Paired Device
  • Create a PIN for Uconnect®

Make sure Bluetooth® is turned on on your device. This is most commonly reached through your device’s settings, where there should be an option to turn Bluetooth® on or off. Once you are in the Bluetooth® setting page and it is on:

  • Choose Uconnect® in the devices list
  • Enter the PIN you created for Uconnect®
  • Choose Pair

Common Uses for Bluetooth® in your Jeep

The Uconnect® system in your Jeep has a number of features to use such as calling and texting capabilities, music compatibility, and navigation opportunities. Use the Uconnect® app on your smartphone and you can also start your engine, lock or unlock your vehicle, or find your parked vehicle if you forgot where you left it. Use voice commands to call anyone in your smartphone’s contact list without taking your eyes off the road or hands off the wheel.
